Size Matters: Get the Right Grind for the Perfect Brew ☕️

When it comes to brewing amazing coffee, grind size really matters — maybe more than you think.

French Press:

  • Grind Size: Coarse (like chunky sea salt)
  • Ratio: 75g coffee per 1L of water (or 1g of coffee for every 13g of water)
  • Tip: A coarser grind paired with a stronger brew gives you a bold, rich, and full-bodied cup without the bitterness.

Pour Over:

  • Grind Size: Medium (like beach sand)
  • Ratio: 60g coffee per 1L of water (or 1g of coffee for every 16–17g of water)
  • Tip: A medium grind and a lighter ratio let all those bright, juicy, and clean flavors shine through — perfect for a refreshing and balanced cup.

Why the Right Size?

It’s all about extraction — how the water pulls flavor from your coffee grounds.
Grind too fine for French press? Over-extracted, bitter, and gritty.
Grind too coarse for pour over? Under-extracted, watery, and flat.
The right grind size helps you hit the sweet spot: rich, flavorful, and clean.

Why Grind Fresh?

Coffee starts losing its best flavors and aromas just minutes after grinding.
Fresh grounds keep the oils, sweetness, and complex notes intact — making a massive difference in every cup.
Take a second to smell your grounds before you brew. That fresh, roasty aroma? That's a sign of greatness brewing. 🌟

Bottom Line:

Grind fresh.
Match your grind size and your brew ratio.
Enjoy coffee that’s fuller, brighter, and brewed exactly the way it should be.

Once you taste the difference, you’ll never want to go back.
