3. Cove & Cedar Roasting House
📍 Picton, Ontario
Perched near the edge of Lake Ontario in Prince Edward County, Cove & Cedar was started by a former winemaker turned Q-Grader who brings terroir thinking into every roast. They source only the highest-cupping lots from direct-trade partners, often visiting farms during harvest. Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword here—it’s baked into their buying model, packaging, and even solar-powered roasting gear.
The café is minimalist but warm—think natural linen, soft jazz piano looping gently in the background, and perfectly poured flat whites served in handmade ceramic cups.
